Runnin' Free Organic Farm was founded in 2000 by John III, after studying sustainable agriculture at Sterling College in Craftsbury Common, Vermont. I returned to New Jersey to help bring sustainability to our area. I have ventured into many different farming angles, such as having a CSA program, wholesaling to local stores and restaurants, farmer's markets, and having a farm stand. I found that we all have our niche and mine was free range organic eggs. I became the Egg-man! I continued to balance my gardens with the poultry, but due to a injury a few years ago, I was forced to temporarily get away from it. Hopefully one day my famous eggs will be back. Over the years I have raised sheep, chickens, turkeys, and a pig. I am ambitious to try new things. I believe in providing people with something grown with heart and soul. Things are always changing as I gain more experience. We have had a great past few seasons and hope more to come.
